Resuscitation Council UK accredited Immediate Life Support (with e-learning). This is a blended learning course with e-learning modules combined with a half-day face to face session with workshops and scenario based learning. This course covers the identification and management of deteriorating patients, cardiac arrest management including airway management, defibrillation, team membership, non-technical skills and much more! This course is aimed at healthcare professionals who may be the first responder to acutely unwell adult patients, and will equip them with the skills and knowledge to support the patient until arrival of a response team.
The course is suitable for doctors, medical students, nurses, nursing students, midwives, paramedics and student paramedics, physiotherapists, dentistry professionals and other health and care professionals. It may also be suitable for fire service technicians, police personnel and prison officers.
