1. Fees and payment

1.1 Full payment of course or conference fee must be received before your place is confirmed.

1.2 Fees can only be paid by credit or debit card (via our secure online store).

2. Cancellation by you

2.1 In the event of you cancelling the course, no refund will be provided.

2.2 If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your place to another person at no extra cost. You will be responsible for ensuring the course materials and manual where applicable are passed on to the person taking your place. You will also be required to claim the course fee back from that person where applicable.

3. Non-attendance

3.1 If you are unable to attend due to whatever reason, including illness or for personal or professional reasons, no refund will be provided.

4. Cancellation by us

4.1 We may need to cancel a course or conference if minimum attendance levels are not met. The course or conference fee will be refunded, unless the applicant wants to transfer his/her booking to another date.

4.2 We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses or conferences and substitute lecturers and tutors if necessary.

4.3 We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) which arise as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of a course or conference or time-tabling constraints as set out above beyond the cost of the event fee (see 4.1).

5. Travel

Please ensure that your place is confirmed and the event is running before you make any travel arrangements. We do not offer refunds for travel or accommodation costs in accordance with Clauses 2 and 4 above.

6. Visas

6.1 We advise you contact the Embassy in your own country to check visa requirements before you book a place on a course or conference. If you are unable to attend because you are unable to obtain a visa to enter the UK, no refund will be offered.

7. Certificates

7.1 Please be aware that for most courses or conferences that we run, certificates will be available for you to print off your computer once you have completed the on-line feedback.

8. Data Protection Act

8.1 By applying to attend a course or conference, you agree to Walsall Healthcare Education Academy processing your personal data, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

8.2 We may occasionally e-mail details of courses or conferences that may be of interest to you. Should you not require such information please click the unsubscribe option on the email.
